Songs and music videos... Epic x 2

Earlier this week I had my first listen to Vampire Weekend's new album, Contra. An awesome CD, and towards the end of the album the song Giving Up The Gun starts playing. The song is absolutely epic, just bursting with life! That was epic 1.

Epic 2 just revealed itself through vimeo, with a new music video release from Jónsi. Jónsi, or Jon Þór Birgisson, is the lead singer and guitarist from Sigur Rós. And, on the 5th of april he will release his debut solo-album. The song Go Do is great. Well... Great doesn't seem to be a fair description, so let's just say that it's epicly great! In addition to that, it's music video is absolutely stunning. Great cinematography, awesome scenary and weird scenography! Stunnygraphic let's say... By far the most interesting and well edited piece I've seen in a long time!
